The 3 sisters

My biggest fear of having 3 children under the ages of two was that there would be MAJOR adjustment issues w/the twins. Fortunately, the twins have pretty much ignored the new baby. Elle seems to be the most indifferent about the whole thing, but Eden wants to give the new baby kisses all the time. I love the expressions on the twins faces as they look at their new baby sister. (Eden is in the dark brown dress)

This is what they mean when they say someone is "sleeping like a baby". Here Evia is 11 days old and she is already growing and changing.

Elle and Eden

The twins are growing every day and now look gigantic next to Evia. Today we went to Aunt Carmyn's house for a get-together and our first outing since the hospital. On the way home driving tonight, I turned around in the car and the girls were sitting in their booster seats holding hands (those things just make your heart melt). These pics are of the girls all ready to go to church-they were so cute in their little corduroy dresses. And the bassinet was my mothers when she was a baby. Also, here is cousin Colleen with Evia.

Baby Evia's visitors, and more...........

It's been a very busy week and full of adjustments at our home. I can't believe Evia is one week and one day old already!!!! Blaine stayed home to help this week and also did quite a few new child proofing installments (especially when he found Elle sitting on the 4 foot high changing table as she had scaled the shelves, in no time flat, like a professional mountain climber). Evia has been so good and cries when she is hungry-but is up in the night and sleepy in the day. We need to get that turned around!! I am forever grateful to the mother of multiples group who has brought over wonderful meals to our home every night this past week-What a wonderful thing!! I will be sure to return this favor as I can see what an amazing help that has been. I wanted to share some of the photos of those that have been here to visit Evia Erianna. Even Doreen and Jenni were here all the way from England to see the baby-well, they did go to Toronto while they were here :-) The fall photo is from our backyard-it's so pretty but hate to see the leaves fall which will be soon replaced by the "white stuff". So, anyways, this sleep deprived, but very happy and blessed mother of 3 very precious girls, is signing off for the night..or..well...until the next feeding.

Yeah-Our Baby Girl is Finally Here!!!!!!!!!!

The most amazing and wonderful miracle happened on Thursday October 16th, 2008 at 5:19 p.m. Little Evia Erianna was born debuting at 7 lbs 13 oz and measuring 19 3/4 inches.

She is a beautiful and precious baby and is definitely Blaine's little girl. And what a surprise to see she has a head full of thick brown hair.

Evia (and Mommy) are doing fine-and came home Saturday morning to meet her new big sisters, Elle and Eden.

Evia (EH-vee-ah) is a Hebrew name meaning "life" or "living one". It is a variant of the name Eve, Eva or Ava. Erianna (air-ee-AH-na) is the Poetic name for Ireland in gaelic.

For those of you wondering how to pronounce Evia's name, you can hear the correct pronunciation here. (click on the word "here")

Stay tuned for about a zillion trillion more pictures to come.

No new News!! Our due date is Tomorrow!

Saw the OB/GYN today. There is nothing new to report except that if this baby doesn't come within the next week, we are scheduled for an induction next Wednesday night. There was a full moon last night.......and still nothing. The Barometric Pressure is dropping today--so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I asked my Doctor about the Barometric Pressure thing and it is NOT an old wives tale. It is true, just as animals tend to go into labor when the atmospheric/barometric pressure changes, humans due too. Apparently, a causal relationship is noted between the number of rupture of the fetal membranes, delivery and barometric pressure, suggesting that low barometric pressure induces rupture of the fetal membranes and delivery

Mommy and her girls!

Can my girls grow up any faster--or cuter?? I was just comparing the picture we took this evening at the local park to a picture we took of the twins last year. What a difference a year can make!
